Rulebook

Trading rules · v1.4

Trade Focus

  • Primary instruments: BTC, ETH, SOL (PERPS). Other majors only after validation.
  • Shitcoin allowance: Total open exposure ≤ 2% of portfolio value (position size, not risk).
  • 2% cap is total exposure across all open trades combined — not per trade.

Time Filter Rule

Trade majors any time a valid setup appears. Only trade low-liquidity alts/shitcoins during high-volume windows:

SessionUTCCH (local)
EU + US overlap13:00–17:0015:00–19:00
US session open13:30–20:0015:30–22:00
Asia session open00:00–03:0002:00–05:00optional

Avoid low-volume danger zone (04:00–09:00 UTC / 06:00–11:00 CH) for shitcoins.

Entry Rules

TIMING: There is always time. The market is in perpetual movement — do not rush to open a position.

S/R ENTRY: Open a position based on S/R. Always put the reversal for S/R breakout. The market is neutral — not placing the reversal means you allow the market to take money from you. (No reversal → −2 EXEC)

TECHNICAL ANALYSIS: Confirm thesis with multiple TA indicators. Open a position if most confirm the thesis and be impartial.

General

  • Stops always based on TA, placed beyond invalidation level.
  • In strong volume conditions, allow less conservative entries.
  • Use GTD + reduce only to avoid stale orders.

Exit Rules

  • Partial TP: take 50% at 1.5–2× risk.
  • TP/SL stop-limit distances must be set correctly for each TP (+/− x% from limit).
  • Breakeven SL = original entry price.
  • At TP1 move SL to breakeven. If conditions allow, enable trailing stop on remainder.
  • Final TP based on next S/R or measured move (min 2:1 RR).
  • Always use "reduce"-only for partial TPs.
  • Exit early if opposite setup forms, strong news reversal, or momentum dies.

Post-Trade Process

  • Log setup, entry/exit reason, emotions, and result.
  • Rate execution from 1–5 based on rule adherence, not profit.
  • Review journals weekly.

Golden Rules

  • ·Cut losses fast, let winners run.
  • ·Keep risk small enough to think clearly.
  • ·Accept uncertainty — no setup is 100%.
  • ·Focus on execution, not outcome.
  • ·The market is neutral — it's not against you.

Daily Mindset

"I am a disciplined trader. My job is to execute my edge with patience, consistency, and emotional control. The market is neutral — no single trade matters. I manage risk first; profits follow from disciplined execution."
